WELCOME 2021

WELCOME 2021! I have not read all of the prophetic prophesies for 2021, but some. I understand that we will enter a year starting with chaos. Some things are difficult to predict and we might meet things that we are not prepared for. We might keep to the saying: “People predict, but God is the One in full control.” All of the prophesies are not correct. I know that many, many prophesied that Trump should become the president after the election. They said when it should happen and some said ... (read more)

DO NOT LIE TO ONE ANOTHER, BUT LIVE IN HONESTY AND OPENNESS!

DO NOT LIE TO ONE ANOTHER, BUT LIVE IN HONESTY AND OPENNESS!   We read in Colossians 3:9 that we should not lie to one another, since we have put off the old man with his deeds and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him. When I was a child, I thought that Christians were honest and that I could trust those going to church, but today I unfortunately know that this is not true anymore. I get sad every time when I discover that a ... (read more)

THE LATTER WINE IS BETTER THAN THE FIRST.

THE LATTER WINE IS BETTER THAN THE FIRST.   I will not write about a drunken party. Nor will I go into a discussion about Christians refusing alcohol or not. The Bible is clear and says that we should not get drunk. I refer to the miracle that Jesus did in the wedding in Cana. Jesus and his mother attended the wedding when the wine got finished. Jesus told the servants to fill the empty vats with water and then He made the water into wine. That wine was much better than the wine they had ... (read more)

HOW DO WE PRAY DURING TIMES OF CHAOS AND CONFUSION?

HOW DO WE PRAY DURING TIMES OF CHAOS AND CONFUSION?   I feel that we are living in such times now. Christians are not one group, thinking the same. One group might prophesy one thing and another the opposite. God is not confused and He is not saying two different things. Something must be true and something is wrong. I will mention the Corona. Many prophets prophesied during the time of Easter that it would reduce and soon to be gone. Many of us had hoped that this would be true, but ... (read more)

THANKFULNESS.

THANKFULNESS.   I am now sitting with a broken bone and a toe in the right foot. I am using a cast and walk on crutches. This is a very new situation for me and it is not so easy to walk with crutches. I say that it is not so easy to learn an old dog new tricks. Have you ever thought of how you shall carry a cup of coffee from one room to another with two crutches? No, you will probably say. These kinds of small problems become like big problems now. I place my mobile in a purse around my ... (read more)

LIGHT A CANDLE IN THE DARKNESS OF FALL.

LIGHT A CANDLE IN THE DARKNESS OF FALL.   I am living in a country with four seasons and everybody has their own favorite season. Many love the spring when everything comes back to life. Ice and snow have covered the life underneath, but now it starts to bloom. I have a daughter loving winter. She can enjoy her skis then. Some love the fall when all the leaves change colors and the trees stand there in their beauty before everything falls off. I have the summer as my favorite season. It is ... (read more)

DO YOU NOW WHO YOU ARE?

DO YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE?   Some of you might get irritated by the headline. “Of course I know who I am. I am Bill Smith.” The fact is that I am not so interested in neither your first nor your last name. I do believe that most of you know your name. Even small children do. In countries like India they children might have gotten the name of an idol, but when they become a child of God they change their names. They do not want to be identified with an idol. When I have people in ... (read more)

PURE AND RIGHTEOUS, READY FOR HEAVEN.

PURE AND RIGHTEOUS, READY FOR HEAVEN.   This headline is taken from a Norwegian psalm, but it sounds different in Norwegian. It actually says that we are made pure and righteous and we are made worthy for heaven. It continues to say that the Lord doesn’t remember our sins any more and He has made us free from distress, judgment and death. When I look up the word righteous in a Bible dictionary, I find a lot of Scriptures from the Old Testament, but also a few from The New Testament. In ... (read more)

DID YOU GET RID OF THE OLD REVELATIONS AND THE OLD DOCTRINES?

IDID YOU GET RID OF THE OLD REVELATIONS AND THE OLD DOCTRINES?   I do not mean that you should throw away everything that you have learned. Most people have had a chance to go to school and we are not supposed to throw away all our knowledge. When my children went to school, they participated in most of the education, but they (we) could not accept the teaching about the evolution. They also showed certain films that neither we nor my children wanted to see. They were also against certain ... (read more)

WHICH SOURCE ARE YOU DRINKING FROM?

WHICH SOURCE ARE YOU DRINKING FROM? I live in Scandinavia and I am lucky that I can open the water tub and drink the water from it. The taste of the water can vary from place to place, depending on the source of the water. I live in a place where we have had quite a lot of chlorine in the water and the water doesn’t taste too good then. When the water comes from a mountain lake, it tastes very good. Bacteria might sometimes enter the water system and we have to boil the water then. I have ... (read more)
