WHEN ARE WE TO EXHORT AND WHEN ARE WE TO ENCOURAGE AND SHOW MERCY? Today I am writing about something I find a little difficult and I may not have all the answers. I will describe dilemmas and point to The Word. I had some difficulties last time when I wrote that we should bless our enemies. Should we allow our enemies to hurt us? WE ARE CALLED TO BLESS!

WE ARE CALLED TO BLESS!   We need to understand how much we are blessed before we start blessing others. We may start with Ephesians 1:3 where we read that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. It continues to say that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. We have received the right to be the children of God. In Christ we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace. We have ... (read more)

THE WORD WILL KEEP YOU ON THE RIGHT TRACK.   When I talk to family and friends, many are saying the same about 2021. They say that the Lord has encouraged them to spend more time in the Word. The Lord has also talked to me about that. The Word has always been important to me, but I had started getting a little lazy and less disciplined at the end of 2020.
