WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR RUCKSACK?

WHAT DO YOU HAVE IN YOUR RUCKSACK? Part 1 You might wonder what I am referring to, but I do believe that you understand that I write symbolically. I do write occasionally about the things I am dealing with daily both through teaching and counselling. I am now back to the problems that we can harbor in our soul and body. Our born-again spirit is totally clean and righteous because of Jesus. I just arrived from a meeting where I was teaching, using three rucksacks. I started with the small one. ... (read more)

WE DO NO WRESTLE AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES AND EVIL POWERS.

WE DO NOT WRESTLE AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD, BUT AGAINST PRINCIPALITIES AND EVIL POWERS.   This head-line is taken from Ephesians 6. Last time I was writing about discerning the spirits and I said that we should pray for our leaders to receive this gift. Why is that so necessary? Some pastors are very kind and they really want to be very loving. When new people come to their church with gifts of The Spirit, they allow them to use their gifts. Some pastors are actually impressed by ... (read more)

GIFT OF DISCERNMENT.

GIFT OF DISCERNMENT. This gift belongs to one of the nine gifts of The Spirit. We can read about the gifts of The Spirit in 1st Corinthians 12, but they are also mentioned in other letters in the Bible. I choose to write about this gift knowing that many find that this gift is difficult to have and many do not know how to use the gift. I myself have found it difficult and I have asked the Lord to remove this gift away from me, but I do not pray like that anymore. On the contrary, I pray that ... (read more)

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH!

THE JOY OF THE LORD IS OUR STRENGTH! Nehemiah writes that in chapter 8, verse 10. Nehemiah was called by God to lead a group back to Jerusalem from Babylon. He was supposed to repair the wall around the city, but that lead to a lot of problems. He was called to be a watchman as well as a worker. I attended a prayer meeting some days ago. I live in Sweden and we usually pray for Sweden and the things going on in this country. The general morality of Sweden is low and it has been a total chaos ... (read more)

WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO IN THIS NEWLY STARTED YEAR?

WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO IN THIS NEWLY STARTED YEAR? Some of you will think that this is a stupid question. “I have a family and a job. I am also a member of a small church that needs voluntary work from every member. You should rather ask me what I shouldn’t do.” I do understand that there are certain every-day duties that all of us have to do, but many are living like a hamster, going around and around on the same wheel and their lives consist of good and bad routines. Who started the ... (read more)

WELCOME TO A NEW YEAR WITH JESUS IN THE CENTRE!

WELCOME TO A NEW YEAR WITH JESUS IN THE CENTRE! You might during the next days be reading prophesies describing the year to come. Some of them will describe the plans of God for 2019 and others will write about disaster and terrible happenings. You will also be reading about fantastic supernatural happenings that will be part of some Christian’s life. It is always exiting to start the new year by reading this kind of reading. I also read this kind of prophesies given by well-known prophets. I ... (read more)

WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?

WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR? In many countries we are now celebrating the season we call Advent. It starts four weeks before Christmas. We are talking about the first Sunday of Advent, the second, the third and the fourth. People are lighting a candle for each Sunday in churches and in their homes. When we have fire on the fourth one, we know that we are very close to Christmas. It seems that we are waiting to celebrate something that happened over 2000 years ago. Christmas is a celebration of the ... (read more)

PRAYERS AND PRAYER-MEETINGS, PART 3

PRAYERS AND PRAYER-MEETINGS. Part 3 I promised last time that I should write about spiritual warfare this time. I have been writing about the intimate relationship with our Father in heaven and with Jesus, our Savior. I have written that we could go to God with our personal needs. When we get together at prayer meetings, we might praise the Lord, but also pray for the needs of our country, our families and for our church. We should agree on the prayer request and be in one accord. James 5:16 ... (read more)

PRAYERS AND PRAYER-MEETINGS, PART 2

PRAYERS AND PRAYER-MEETINGS. Part 2 When we pray alone, we have a personal relationship to God. We are first and foremost together with Him whom we call our Father. We are also together with Jesus, our Bridegroom, with whom we shall celebrate a wedding. Since we are children of God, we are allowed to come to Him as children, pouring out our heart to Him. We do not need to pretend to be different. Masks can fall off. When we come to the Lord with our petitions, it might be that we need personal ... (read more)

PRAYERS AND PRAYER-MEETINGS

PRAYERS AND PRAYER-MEETINGS. Part 1 I have been to many different prayer-meetings in different churches and groups throughout my life-time. A lot of them have been very good, but sometimes I return home and I cry over lack of leadership and a lot of confusion. That has caused division instead of oneness in the Spirit. I have been to other meetings with a strong leader and she or he is the only one allowed to pray. That is also wrong. To pray and to pray with others is not exactly the same. I ... (read more)
