WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO DURING EASTER? I grew up in Norway and Easter started Saturday before Palm Sunday. From that day to Tuesday after Easter, Norway was more or less closed. Only a few people worked Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before Maundy Thursday, but many were on vacation. WE ARE CALLED TO BLESS! We need to understand how much we are blessed before we start blessing others. We may start with Ephesians 1:3 where we read that we are blessed with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. It continues to say that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. We have received the right to be the children of God. We read in Colossians 3:9 that we should not lie to one another, since we have put off the old man with his deeds and have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him. THE LATTER WINE IS BETTER THAN THE FIRST. I will not write about a drunken party. Nor will I go into a discussion about Christians refusing alcohol or not.
