GLASSES.

GLASSES.   I presume that you might have some questions about the title. You know that I am not an eye-doctor nor an optician. Jesus used many parables when He was teaching and I also like to talk about spiritual things, using practical examples. This time I use glasses. That might not be so strange since I recently had an operation on both my eyes. I had used very strong glasses and had developed a cartridge the last years. I can now be without glasses and I see better than ever. This is ... (read more)

HOW DO WE USE THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT? PART 2

HOW DO WE USE THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT? Part 2 When I have talked to others about the gifts of the Spirit, I have heard how they can be misused and wrongly interpreted. That should not lead us into a fear of using the gifts. The Bible encourages us to use what we have received and not to hide them in a grave to die. When we receive a gift or a new thing, we will often find a prescription for how to use it. I have not found such a prescription in the Bible, but I will point at some biblical ... (read more)

HOW DO WE USE THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT, PART 1

HOW DO WE USE THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT? Part 1 The Bible describes nine gifts of the Spirit. 1.Corinthians 12 is a very central chapter in describing the gifts. The 14th chapter writes a lot about speaking in tongues and prophesies. The gifts are given to us and we cannot use them unless they are given. These gifts are only given to the children of God. The 11th verse in chapter 12 is saying that it is the same Spirit working through all the gifts and God gives individually as He wills. The 7th ... (read more)

WE CAN CELEBRATE EASTER THE ENTIRE YEAR.

WE CAN CELEBRATE EASTER THE ENTIRE YEAR!   Most of us have just celebrated Easter while some countries celebrate Easter a little bit later. It depends on the calendar they use. Easter was celebrated by the Jews long before Jesus was born. They called it Pesach and it was in memory of the exodus of Egypt and the slavery there. The Bible calls it the feast of the unleavened bread. Yeast was a symbol of sin and they baked a bread out of flour and water. We Christians are celebrating Easter ... (read more)

DO WE MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR GOD TO HELP US?

DO WE MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR GOD TO HELP US?   You might really wonder why I come with such a question. Both you and I know that He says that nothing is impossible for Me and that’s really true. He has created heaven and earth and He has created us and everything that is alive on this earth. Men have wrongly interfered with some of His creation. God is called The Almighty and He is known for signs and wonders. I really do not ask if anything is impossible for Him, but if we allow Him to do ... (read more)

THE VARIATIONS IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD

THE VARIATIONS IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD. BEFORE YOU START READING THE TEXT, I WANT TO EXPLAIN WHY YOU HAVEN’T BEEN ABLE TO ENTER MOTHERELSE. IT WAS HACKED AND IT TOOK SOME TIME BEFORE I GOT HELP AND HAD IT REPAIRED WITH HIGHER SECURITY. LET US BE TRUE PEOPLE WITH SPIRITUAL POWER.

LET US BE TRUE PEOPLE WITH SPIRITUAL POWER.   I have recently been reading some of the letters written by apostle Paul. I was amazed by his honesty and he didn’t try to make himself to be a superstar or a superhero. He wrote about things that had to do with everyday life. He had a sincere relationship to those he wrote to and he could express his longing for them. He is mentioning the names of the people working closely with him and he is expressing his appreciation for them. He ... (read more)

BEHOLD, I WILL DO A NEW THING.

BEHOLD, I WILL DO A NEW THING!   The Lord is coming with this statement both in The old and in The New Covenant. I feel that the Lord is doing something new almost every day in or through one’s life, but still there are times when He specifically is emphasizing this fact. I think we should read from Isaiah 43: 18-21. It goes like this: Do not remember the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will ... (read more)

WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LIGHT AND SALT, PART 2

WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LIGHT AND SALT. Part 2 I stopped last time by writing that light might become dark and dark might become light. I mentioned that those of us that had been walking in the light, could fall in sin and the sin and the darkness could get hold of us and lead us astray. On the contrary, I am so glad that many who have lived in darkness are coming to the Light. A lot Is depending on us Christians. Do we live in the Light and do we allow the light in us to shine through us? Many ... (read more)

WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LIGHT AND SALT.

WE ARE SUPPOSED TO BE LIGHT AND SALT.   Part 1   I think that Jesus is so good in using symbols and pictures from real life. It is so much easier to understand the message that He wants to convey then. I often receive that myself and that is so helpful in making people understand. When I am in India I receive stories from their culture or environment and the same happens in other countries. God has created us and He knows best how we can receive from Him. We human beings are not quite ... (read more)
