WELCOME TO THE YEAR 2014.

WELCOME TO THE YEAR 2014! Do you remember some of the things that I wrote a year ago? I had a vision of many pregnant women and they were ready to give birth. I was first and foremost thinking of visions and dreams that you had been carrying, maybe for years. I wrote that 2013 would be a year of breakthrough. CAN YOU SING JOYFUL CHRISTMAS, HOLY CHRISTMAS? This title is a little strange since “Silent night, holy night” has another translation in Norwegian. We sing: “Glade jul, hellige jul.” “Glad” means merry or happy and “hellig” means holy. I guess you understand that I am not asking for your ability to sing, but I want to share some thoughts about the words: Happy and holy. What is making you happy? WHO AND WHAT ARE CONTROLLING YOU?

WHO AND WHAT ARE CONTROLLING YOU? I can almost hear some of you saying: “Nobody is controlling me. I do exactly as I want and nobody can decide what I should do.” Some people would think that this sounds fine. I hear certain elements of freedom, but also an undertone of rebellion. For some time you couldn’t find any new text. The English part was ready first and the Norwegian one is still in the process. I WILL MAKE YOU FISHERS OF MEN. Are you having a bad conscience for not witnessing enough? Are you wondering what you should say to your neighbors about Jesus? How would you win your family and your colleagues? It’s time for melting ice

I started crying while I was in prayer some days ago. I had just experienced how a broken relationship between old friends was restored and a lot of misunderstanding was wiped away. We had moved to different places and it was not natural to keep the same tight relationship, but the Lord doesn’t want anything that can be interpreted as a division between us. Some of you will be offended and surprised by my title. You might think that I talk about sinful pleasure. No, I don’t. I just asked if you could enjoy it. To enjoy something has in many Christian circles a bad connotation. It is often thought of as sexual sins, too much alcohol or a way of living where I and me are in focus.
