MONEY

MONEY   I have written about this before, but it is a theme that should be talked about regularly in the Body of Christ. One is saying that most Christians are falling in three areas: money, power and sex. When one reads about known preachers and tragic stories from somewhere, it seems to be the truth. Sometimes they fall in only one area or in all three. We must therefore talk about these areas. If we avoid talking about them, the devil might increase his power. I prefer to put a ... (read more)

RECONCILIATION, PART 2

RECONCILIATION Part 2 While I was writing about reconciliation, a woman contacted me and asked for forgiveness for something she did and she wanted a renewed contact. I became very happy and I have forgiven and want to renew the relationship. I was also thankful to the Lord and this was another proof that He wants reconciliation and He is working on the hearts of people. I wrote a lot about the role of the father last time. A lot of the same things are the same for mothers. I have lately had ... (read more)

RECONCILIATION, Part 1

RECONCILIATION. Part 1 I will write about something that the Lord is concerned about and since He is, I am also. Reconciliation has always been important, but I think it is more important than ever since many of us believe that Jesus is coming soon for His bride. Forgiveness and reconciliation are two words that belong together. The Bible has written quite a lot about this and I will refer to the Word of God. When I read the Old Testament, I saw that a gift was often used as a sign of ... (read more)

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS, part 2

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS. Part 2 We usually think of more than one person when we talk about relationships. We think of what happens between two people or between members of a small group, between colleagues, church members, bosses and employees, teachers and students. This is just to mention a few examples. The strange thing is that our relationship to others depends on how we look upon ourselves and how we feel. I will try to be more concrete. If I should have a low self-esteem, it could come out ... (read more)

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS

BUILD RELATIONSHIPS! Part 2 I am finally back from Ukraine where I have had a very important and useful stay. I have had many seminars and a lot of counselling and I got new friends and developed an even deeper relationship with those I had before. What is Christianity? For me it is not a religion, but a relationship. When sin entered the world through Adam and Eve, the close relationship between God and man was broken. God hates sin and He cannot have an intimate relationship with sinners. He ... (read more)

HOW DO WE USE THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT? PART 2

HOW DO WE USE THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT? Part 2 When I have talked to others about the gifts of the Spirit, I have heard how they can be misused and wrongly interpreted. That should not lead us into a fear of using the gifts. The Bible encourages us to use what we have received and not to hide them in a grave to die. When we receive a gift or a new thing, we will often find a prescription for how to use it. I have not found such a prescription in the Bible, but I will point at some biblical ... (read more)

HOW DO WE USE THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT, PART 1

HOW DO WE USE THE GIFTS OF THE SPIRIT? Part 1 The Bible describes nine gifts of the Spirit. 1.Corinthians 12 is a very central chapter in describing the gifts. The 14th chapter writes a lot about speaking in tongues and prophesies. The gifts are given to us and we cannot use them unless they are given. These gifts are only given to the children of God. The 11th verse in chapter 12 is saying that it is the same Spirit working through all the gifts and God gives individually as He wills. The 7th ... (read more)
