WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO DURING EASTER? I grew up in Norway and Easter started Saturday before Palm Sunday. From that day to Tuesday after Easter, Norway was more or less closed. Only a few people worked Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday before Maundy Thursday, but many were on vacation. WE CAN CELEBRATE EASTER THE ENTIRE YEAR!   Most of us have just celebrated Easter while some countries celebrate Easter a little bit later. It depends on the calendar they use. Easter was celebrated by the Jews long before Jesus was born. They called it Pesach and it was in memory of the exodus of Egypt and the slavery there. THE EASTER OF 2015.     We are in the middle of Easter now. Some is calling it the quiet week. In my homeland, Norway, many people take a long vacation and they go to the mountains or far away to a warmer country. If you come to Norway as a tourist during this time, you might experience Norway as boring and many things are closed due to the holidays. CHRIST CRUCIFIED, DEAD AND BURIED. CHRIST THE RISEN ONE!     We are in the middle of Easter when this comes out. Easter is in my opinion the most important holiday. At the same time we must remember that without Christmas, there wouldn’t be any Easter. The most important man in history was born then.
