September 28th Part 5 I completed last chapter by telling how the Holy Spirit came to the house of Cornelius and to us gentiles. We will continue to read the Acts. We start with Acts 11:28. September 18th Part 4 This time I will go through the Acts, but before that I will write a little about the last days of Jesus here on this earth. Jesus died and rose again on the third day. He carried all our sins, broke all the curses of the devil and by His stripes we are healed. (Is.53:4+5) Jesus appeared to His disciples after His resurrection. He was with them several times. September 8th Part 3 Jesus was born in a stable in Bethlehem. An angel came and told some shepherds on the field about the birth of Jesus. The place was filled with a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, saying: “Glory to God in the highest, And on earth peace, goodwill toward men!” Every boy who was eight days old should be circumcised according to the laws of Moses. August 28th Part 2 I will continue with examples from the Old Covenant. I start with Nehemiah. He was called by God to rebuild the walls of Jerusalem. In chapter 9 he talks about the time they had in the desert. He talks to God and says in verse 20: “You also gave Your good Spirit to instruct them, And did not withhold Your manna from their mouth, And gave them water for their thirst. ” I used last times many examples to show that the Spirit came upon people and they prophesied. ... August 18th Part 1. God is One and God is Three. This is a mystery, but still important to understand. We have all some kind of imaginations about The Holy Spirit. These are not always true.
