IT IS TIME TO RESIST THE ENEMY

IT IS TIME TO RESIST THE ENEMY.

I do not think that any one of us doubt the fact that we live in the end times. None of us know exactly when Jesus is coming back, not even Jesus Himself knows. Matthew 25 describes the five virgins having oil in their lamps and five without. They didn’t enter the wedding. I do not want neither you nor I to be among those. I watched a film describing this. It was a terrible sight to watch the virgins desperately banging on a closed door.

The closer we get to the return of Jesus, the stronger the activities of the devil, our enemy. We have seldom watched so much chaos in the world as now and the Body of Christ is far from spotless. A lot of sin is revealed both in the Body of Christ and in society. The Bible says that the wage of sin is death. The Lord wants to expose these things, and they are not coming to the surface by coincidence. The Bible says that what comes into light, will become light. I believe God gives His children a chance to confess their sins in order to be cleansed. If the sin is hidden in the dark, it is easy to continue to sin. Some believe that we can sin as much as we like because Jesus took all of our sins on the Cross. They have forgotten what is written in 1.John 1:9 then. There we read that if we confess our sins, the Lord is just and gracious and will forgive us our sins. The confession is therefore necessary.

I experience a great lack of knowledge about the spiritual world. It is a tragedy when pastors and common Christians do not want to know the work of the devil and they become victims of his plans. I have recently seen some strange deaths among active Christians. Some of them die without a warning or they get shortly sick and die. I think they die much too early. They are naturally coming home to heaven, but I do not think it was planned by God. Some will discuss this with me and say that nothing happens without the will of God, but God is not the only existing ruler of this world. The devil became the boss when Adam and Eve sinned, but Jesus gave us Christians the same authority as He has Himself. We can therefor take back what the devil has stolen. If every Christian on the earth would disappear right now, the devil would be the ruler and it would be terrible on earth, worse than now. We Christians have Jesus living in our spirit and He wants us to rule over our territories.

Some Christians do not understand that God has a specific purpose for them. We could actually all dies the day we get saved. It is much better in heaven than here on earth. The apostle Paul writes that he has a struggle between dying or doing God’s will here on earth. Both God and Jesus are in heaven and The Holy Spirit is the only one from the Trinity on the earth today. God is therefore totally dependant on us His children. We are His mouth, hands and feet. As borne again Christians we have received a new nature. We have received the nature of Jesus in our spirit and we have access to everything Jesus had when He was here on earth.

Jesus has given us His name, His power and the possibility to do more than He did when He was on earth. (John 14:12) We have to start identifying with who we are in Christ, and not with all our shortcomings and mistakes. Jesus could not do anything without the Father. He only did what the Father told Him to do.

We have had prophets from other nations prophesying over Sweden. They have said that the Christians in Sweden have to get rid of apathy, otherwise there will be no revival. I believe that we have an apathetic spirit. That demon paralyzes the Christians and make them passive. It even paralyzes their will. I have sometimes seen snakes around our free will. I thank God who has given us authority to set us free.

All Christians are called to be part of the Bride and to be warriors. Way too many are victims for the devil. He attacks Christians and they lay down without resistance. It could be sicknesses, death, lack of money, fear, family conflicts, other conflicts and even harassment. The morality of a country is sinking, and the lawlessness is increasing. What do we Christians do about it?

None of us need to be a victim of the devil.

In James 1:17 we read that all good gifts come from above, from the Father of Light. We know therefore that if something isn’t good, it doesn’t come from God. What should we do then? We should do what it says in James 4:7. It says there that we should resist the devil and he will flee from us. Jesus resisted the devil by using the Word of God. He said: “It is written.” We can and should do the same. We sometimes allow the devil to have way too much power. Jesus won a victory over him, and we read in the Revelation 12:11 that they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by their word of their testimony.
