GOD IS GOD IF EVERY COUNTRY IS DESERTET AND GOD IS GOD IF EVERY MAN WAS DEAD.

GOD IS GOD IF EVERY COUNTRY IS DESERTET AND GOD IS GOD IF EVERY MAN WAS DEAD.

I know that the headline sounds harsh and maybe a little morbid. It was actually Martin Luther who wrote a psalm with these words. When the world is in chaos or circumstances are very difficult, these words are coming to me.

The world is in chaos right now. Changes are happening very quickly, especially with a new president in the USA. I do not have the ultimate answers of the final results but right now it looks rather chaotic. Old alliances are broken, commercial wars have started, ongoing wars are supposed to be stopped, but with what guarantees? One wakes up every morning with new news.

In America many small and large churches have exposed sexual encroachments that were hidden for many years. Drunken parties among Christian leaders have been brought into light and many other sins done by Christian leaders one thought one could trust. The facades have been ruined. I have no desire to mention names, but I get sad for all the people that have been hurt and tricked into bad situations. The worst thing is that Christian leaders have put a lid over the sins and the victims have not gotten proper help. On the contrary: more I react victims have come. Theses things have not only happened in America. We have Knuteby in Sweden and control and manipulation in The Word of Truth in Norway. In Knuteby they had both murder and encroachments. A lot of these things can happen when one exalts a leader as if he or she was God. People are just people depending on an Almighty God. I react negatively when a person is called a great man of God or a great woman of God. We only have men and women with a great God.

We read daily about wars several places in the world. People are killed in thousands, and many are losing their homes. Hospitals are bombed and people are dying without medical help. In other places people are dying in lack of food, especially small children cannot survive. Millions of people are on the run. Many people are asking me how there can be a God and how He can allow so much suffering. I explain that the devil got to be the ruler of this world when sin came into this world through Eve and Adam. God has created us with a free will. If God was a dictator, this world would have been very different, but we would not have a free and loving relationship to God then. It is not so easy to come to a God who forces you. A lot of the misery in the world has to do with our free will and the power of the devil.

When Jesu came to this world, He broke the darkness over this world. The devil is still having power, but we Christians can bring light into our own life and that of others. We can do that in the name of Jesus. Every believer has an area where he or she can brake the power of the devil. The world would be even more dark if we Christians weren’t here with the Light as a counter-poison.

I was in a very unpleasant situation a few days ago and I was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. I will have to have further examinations. When this happened, I wanted to die and come to heaven, but that is not a decision of mine. God is in control and if He is in need of me here on earth, I say yes and will continue to be in service for Him. I was actually reminded of these words that God is God no matter the circumstances. I choose life and I choose to trust Him even if my emotions say something else. The devil wants my attention, but I have to choose to turn my eyes upon Jesus. That’s where I get my strength and also my help.

                                                     God is God.

I really want to recommend you turning your attention on the Lord no matter the circumstances in you or outside of you. The promises of God do not disappear when you come in a difficult situation. Just think of psalm 23, 91,92, Isaiah 53 and 54. I could write many pages just to remind you of His promises. God is for us and never against us. In Matthew 6 we read how He takes care of our food and our clothes. In Matthew 10:30 we read that He counts the hair on our head. Can you imagine somebody caring so much for you that he or she would count your hair? I have never had a person doing that. I do not think that we fully understand the love and concern God has for us.

We read in James 1:2-3 that we should count it as joy when we fall into all kind of trials. When our faith is tested, it produces patience. When we start doing gymnastics, we start with simple exercises first. We might use some light weights, but when you get stronger, the weights are heavier. The same goes for our faith. We shouldn’t be too afraid to be tested through trials then.

I believe that the world might get worse and that we might face more difficulties. The Bible describes what will happen in the last days. We must therefore train our spiritual muscles. God doesn’t want any evil to harm us, but He allows us to go through certain difficulties so that we can train our spiritual muscles. We read in Romans 8:28 that everything works for good for those who love the Lord. God can turn the negative things to something positive. The demand is that we love the Lord.

LOVE THE LORD IN SPITE OF CIRCUMSTANCES!
