NONE OF US NEED TO BE A VICTIME FOR THE DEVIL

NONE OF US NEED TO BE A VICTIM FOR THE DEVIL.
I will continue with the same theme as last time. We should resist the devil. I wrote last time also that we didn’t need to be a victim for the devil. Many Christians are living under a cloak of being a victim. They look like slaves instead of daughters and sons to the King of kings. Do you remember the story of Bartimaeus in Mark 10:46 and to the end of the chapter? Bartimaeus sat by the road begging, but when he heard that Jesus was coming, he started shouting for Him. People around him tried to stop him, but he shouted even more, and Jesus stopped and wanted to talk to him. Bartimaeus threw his cloak off himself then. That cloak was identifying him as blind. Today the blind has a stick, but they had a cloak at that time. Jesus asked him what he wanted him to do for him and Bartimaeus wanted to have his sight back. Jesus prayed for him and Bartimaeus could see. Bartimaeus followed Jesus on the road then, meaning that he became a follower of Jesus.
I have several times asked a person with a mental sickness to shake off his diagnosis or the invisible cloak defining the person to be sick. These people are Christians, and they therefore have a pure and healthy spirit without any spots. The more they identify with what is healthy, the better they become. I do not ask them to stop eating medicines. No, I recommend them to keep contact with their doctor, but to throw away the cloak of being a victim under sickness. They should believe for recovering or even better to become totally healed. Is it possible for mentally sick to become totally healed? Naturally they can. Nothing is impossible for God. The patient might have a difficult to renew one’s mind. They might have compulsory thoughts, and these thoughts are most likely lies. These lies might be like a reality for the patient. They will sometimes become psychotic, and they have to become hospitalized and get medicines. Many ask me if demons are behind mental diseases. I believe that there could be a demon behind the sickness, but if it is only a demon, medicines would not help, and they do so.
I use to ask the sick person if the sickness is inheritable, and if it is , I brake the inheritance in the name of Jesus. I want to know when the sickness started. Is it inborne or is it a result of a traumatic happening? I often brake the power of demons over the person and then I pray for healing in the name of Jesus. The difficult process is to change lies with truth and a way of behaviour. The patient has to a certain extent to partake in that process, and they do not always will or can.
Some are saying that they get sick so that we can share the suffering of Jesus on the Cross. In mine Bible it is written that Jesus has carried my sickness and in His wounds we are healed. (1.Peter 1:24) God does not want us to carry something that Jesus already has carried. I rather think that we should be thankful for what Jesus has done, thank Him for that. I do not always have victory myself, but I still believe that this is the way to go.
Sickness is not a gift from God.
Last time I mentioned James 1:17 where it is written that all good gifts come from the Father of Light. Sickness is not a good gift. It is written in James 4:7 that we should resist the devil, and he will flee from us. If you have a cloak of being victimized, you might receive what comes from the devil and do not see clearly that God doesn’t send something bad. I would recommend you to ask the Lord or The Holy Spirit who has sent what is happening to you. I remember something hat happened to me some years back. A woman rang my bell. She was drunk and she looked very bad. My daughter opened the door and called me immediately. I greeted the woman and said that she should wait a couple of minutes. I asked the Lord if she was dangerous or if I should help her. I should help her, and I took her with me outside since it was summer. I made food and coffee. It turned out that she lived in a home for homeless and I called them. The police came after some hours. I had shared Jesus with her and given her love.
We read in Romans 8:28 that all things work together for good for those who love Him, our Lord. That doesn’t mean that everything comes from God. No, as long as I live here on earth, we will experience something negative. We do not have to accept it, but God can turn the evil to something good because we love the Lord. A woman who got divorced after a very difficult marriage, got a better place to live after three days. The new place was like an oasis. A woman had her apartment burnt down. It was terrible, but she got a new and much better apartment. God wasn’t behind neither the bad marriage nor the burning, but He turned the evil to something good for these two women.
As a Christian you have moved from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of Light. You are a child of God, and He has promised you a lot of blessings. Your Daddy in heaven has promised to take care of your needs, and you are never alone because Jesus has promised to never leave you nor forsake you. (Matthew 28:20). If we understood our identity in Christ, we would rise against the evil attacks from the devil, against us, our family, our church, our city and our country. Jesus has given us His authority and He disarmed the devil, and we can therefore say no to the devil in the name of Jesus. The devil has no right to go against us.
DO NOT ACCUSE GOD FOR THE THINGS THE DEVIL DOES!
