We read these verses in John 14:6. Jesus continued to say that no one comes to the Father except through Him. I have met people in New Age and just people in the world and they say they believe in God, or some say a Higher Power, but they do not believe that Jesus is the only way to God. Some of these say that they pray to God, but not in the name of Jesus. Jesus said that there is no other way. Before Jesus came and fulfilled His purpose on the Cross, there was a gap between God and people, and we could not come directly to God. Now we can in the name of Jesus.

                      Jesus opened a bloodshed way to the Father.

There is a lot of confusion in the world today. People do not know what to believe and many are afraid because there are several wars going on in the world. People are afraid that there should be a World War 3, and that is not totally impossible. Some people do not know in whom to believe, and others say that Allah and our God is the same. According to John14:6 Allah is not the same because the Muslims to not pray to Allah in the name of Jesus.

I call myself a Christian because I am a follower of Christ. I know that He has opened a way to the Father, and I want to follow Him.

Today there are people saying that what is true for you, is true. They deny that there is an ultimate truth. Jesus was courageous and said that He is the Truth. When I received Jesus as my Savior, His spirit moved into my spirit, and I know that the spirit of truth is living on the inside of me. The devil is called the father of lies and we know that the devil is the ruler of this world, so we are under the influence of lies. Even schools might teach lies since the teaching isn’t based on the Word of God. We cannot trust the newspapers nor the news on radio and television. They are often getting information from the wrong sources, and they do not manage to stay neutral in conflicts.

I am very happy that I have a spirit of truth within me, and I check with the Lord if I wonder what is true and what is a lie. Half-lies can be the most dangerous. It is easy to be deceived then. The Bible says that there will be a lot of deception in the last days, and we are in the last days now.

The Bible says that the sheep will recognize the voice of the shepherd. We are God’s sheep, and we should recognize the voice of God and of Jesus. Are we close enough to hear Him? Maybe you have to turn off other noises or other voices in order to hear the voice of the Lord?

The Word of God is true. Sometimes it might be difficult to interpret the Word but ask The Holy Spirit to reveal the Word to you.

Jesus is also calling Himself for Life. My spirit was dead or influenced by the enemy before I received Jesus as my Savior. He moved into my spirit then, and I received a new nature, a Jesus nature. Ephesians 2:8 says that we are saved by grace and not by works. Philippians 2:12 says that we should work on the salvation of our soul. Our spirit is saved, ready to go to heaven. My soul needs to be sanctified by the help of The Holy Spirit.

The devil wants to kill and destroy, but God has given us life and Life Himself lives on the inside of me. When I pray for people to be healed and delivered, I do not have power to heal and deliver, but Jesus in me can. I pray that His power goes through me. People sometimes say that they feel warm and that comes from my new nature. If I didn’t know that Jesus lived on the inside of me, I could not pray for people. I am totally dependent on Him.

Sometimes when I pray for people, I have an encounter with a spirit of death. I know that Jesus conquered the devil on the Cross and Jesus has given me authority over the devil, so I can demand the spirit of death to leave. Sometimes the person has to confess sins or forgive somebody. It is important that the spirit understands that the person doesn’t want that spirit to stay any longer. This goes for all kinds of spirits, not only the spirit of death.

God has made me to be His child by giving me life everlasting. I live a short time here on earth, and I have a calling and a destiny while I am here on earth.

MAY WE FULFILL OUR CALLING AND DESTINY HERE ON EARTH BEFORE GOD BRINGS US HOME TO THE PLACE HE HAS PREPARED FOR US.
