YOU WILL GET A DAY TOMORROW, CLEAN AND NOT USED!

YOU WILL GET A DAY TOMORROW, CLEAN AND NOT USED!

I should have written about this last time, but you can as well apply it for today. I celebrated New Year together with some dear friends of mine and we had a long time of praying at the end of the evening. During the praying, I was reminded of a song written by a Norwegian songwriter a long time ago. His name is Alf Prøysen, and he is dead for many years. It is a little difficult to translate it because he used a dialect, but the content is that tomorrow is not written yet and it is like white sheets of papers. The Lord started to say that I should brake ties to all negative and demonic activities from 2025. If I didn’t, they would continue into 2026, and the sheets of papers would not be clean. It could be like words spoken by myself or others that are not according to the Word of God and are not according to the truth. It could be traumatic memories that needed healing or maybe patterns or bad habits that had to be stopped. God has also asked me: Who shall be writing on these pages of the new year? There was a book called: The devil is dipping his pen. The Lord asked me to symbolically destroy the pen of the devil in my own life and in the lives of those I pray for. I do not want the devil to write on the pages of 2026. I want Jesus to write in my calendar, and I want Him to fill the year ahead.

I was listening to the entire song of Alf Prøysen and some of the content is about a boy who had made some mistakes, but he got a chance to get rid of the old mistakes. When I listened, I was reminded of Jeremiah 18. That is about a potter and when his vessel was marred in his hand, the potter made another vessel that he was pleased with. Jesus has made that possible for every human being. When we fail, he can destroy our failures. He carried our sins, our sicknesses and he conquered the devil. (Colossians 2:14+15) When we have made a mistake, we can come to Him and ask for forgiveness, and He wipes out our mistakes as they had never existed. We do not lose our history, but the sin disappears and pain and wounds can be healed.

                                        Jesus is the best Potter!

Jesus is forgiving us, but do we forgive ourselves? The devil will often remind us of the sins that God already has forgiven. But the devil wants us to punish ourselves in different ways. When the Lord has forgiven us, we must ask the Holy Spirit to help us to forgive ourselves. Have you forgiven those hurting you? To forgive doesn’t mean that you agree with what they have done. No, but you forgive in spite of their deeds. I have heard many testimonies from people being healed when they forgave.

Do you have an almanac? How do you use it? I am naturally writing my appointments you might answer. Yes, so do I, but who is behind my appointments? Have you prayed for every day during this year? You can either pray for one day at a time or a week or a month. I have heard about pastors and other Christian leaders having a full schedule for the entire year, but then The Holy Spirit came and destroyed the plans of the whole year. The Holy Spirit asked the person to cancel all his or her plans and He had other plans for the person. In some cases He asked the person to spend time in praying. Do you think that this was easy for the person? No, they had to swallow a lot of pride. They were also afraid of making people disappointed. Maybe they wouldn’t be asked to come back another time. Maybe they even lost some money. Would the Lord be able to provide them with the needed money?

Had these people asked the Lord for guidance before they got a full schedule? That is what I want you to do before you write in your new schedule. There might sometimes be other people there wanting to fill our almanac. Even the devil might want to do that. He might want you to get involved in things that the Lord doesn’t want. It might not always be sinful things, but things that take time away from the Lord. There was a book called: Good ideas and God´s ideas. We have often been tricked to fill our almanac with good appointments.

I have lately listened to several known sportsmen and women who have quitted their career. Most of them are saying that they quitted because of their family. They might have become a mother or father or missing his or her spouse being away great parts of the year. Those choices are not easy since they were know and had a name and earned a lot of money, but the family became their first priority. What are your priorities? The Bible says that we should love the Lord with all our heart and soul and the next as ourselves. (Matthew 22:37-41) I believe that we first should love the Lord, then ourselves, then our spouse, then our children and at the end ministry. Many are jumping over their families and love ministry more. The result might be that the children lose their faith in God as a good Father. We are too often hearing that the children of known Christian leaders leave their faith in God. I do not understand that Christian leaders can go against 1.Timothy 3 saying that a leader should have obedient children and how can he or she take care of a church if they cannot rule their own family?

How much space does your family fill in your almanac?

How much space does God, Jesus and The Holy Spirit have in your almanac?

LET THE WILL OF JESUS FILL YOUR ALMANAC IN 2026!
