CHRISTIAN COUNSELLING, part 4

CHRISTIAN COUNSELLING. Part 4 This time I want to concentrate on the counsellor. Who can become a counsellor? What kind of an education is needed? Can a counsellor demand to is done get paid? These might be a few of many questions that you are having. I do not have all the answers, but I I have many thoughts about this theme, and I have practised counselling fome counsellors or 40 years, but not always as a whole day practise. Christian counselling is something that is done on a Christian ... (read more)

CHRISTIAN COUNSELLING, Part 3

CHRISTIAN COUNSELLING Part 3 I have already mentioned quite a few negative reasons for wounds during childhood or even before because of generational curses. You might think of more reasons than those I have mentioned, but I will leave the childhood now and start writing about the teens. What is important for a young person? It is very important to feel accepted and to feel they belong somewhere. Why do so many young people enter the wrong groups? One reason out of many others is that they ... (read more)

CHRISTIAN COUNSELLING, PART 1.

CHRISTIAN COUNSELLING. Part 1 I have planned to write about this theme at least four times. That will be like a small seminar. The Lord started to teach me about this theme already in the eighties. I sat with the Bible and The Holy Spirit. He also wanted to teach me about another theme and that was about the devil and all his deeds. That teaching plus many years of experience led me to write two books. The first one I wrote during 2012 and the second one in 2024. We read in Genesis 1:27 that we ... (read more)

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.

THE JUST SHALL LIVE BY FAITH.   I am now moving into a theme that is not very light nor easy, but it is written a lot about it in the Bible. The headline is taken from the Letter to the Galatians chapter 3:11. I would also recommend you to study chapter three in the Letter to the Romans. We read in Romans 3:20 “Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. No human being has lived a sinless life except for Jesus. He ... (read more)

WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT FOR SOME TO SAY NO?

WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT FOR SOME TO SAY NO? Part 1 It is naturally important to know what one should say no to and what one should yes to. We should say yes to Jesus, but no to sin and to the devil. He is often hiding himself as a tempter and he wants to make the sin look so nice and tempting, making it more difficult to say no to. I will start this theme by writing about sexual temptations. Everything is available on internet these days, and many are using that as an excuse to watch pornography ... (read more)

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.

UNCONDITIONAL LOVE.   I will start by writing down a Norwegian psalm describing the love of God. Love from God is like a sweet bride coming to us with her jewels. Open your fathom and come in the name of Jesus. The heaven brings it down. Love from God is the greatest commandment, the only thing I know. Stay in love and you will have the peace of God. He Himself is love. I will continue to take you to Matthew 22:34. In my Bible it has following headline: The two great commandments. It is ... (read more)

THE KINGDOM OF GOD

THE KINGDOM OF GOD.   I recently got a question to explain the kingdom of God. That lead me to many Scriptures in the Bible. We can say that the kingdom of God is in us and outside   us. We read in Matthew 4 that Jesus moved to Capernaum when He heard that John was sent to prison. Jesus was now beginning His ministry, and He said in verse 17: “Repent for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.” I believe that Jesus meant that the kingdom of God could be manifested through Him. Jesus called ... (read more)
