A NEW AND EXCITING YEAR!

A NEW AND EXCITING YEAR!

I all the time get the word exciting when it comes to next year. I do not believe that it will be an easy year, but I do believe that it will be very exciting. I will not prophesy about wars, earthquakes or other catastrophes. I do not have any revelation about where and when these things will happen around the world and I do not want us to be mainly focused on all the negative things happening everywhere. I do not believe that we should be ignorant and close our eyes for realities, but we should focus on the things above. We can read in Colossians 3:2 “ Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” I have had problems with crystal flu lately. That makes me dizzy and I have to learn to focus. I must make a decision to fix my attention on a certain spot. We have to do the same in the Spirit. If we turn our head in all different directions, it will become a chaos. The same thing will happen in spiritual matters.

Who is our Savior and Rescuer? His name is Jesus. He lives in us and we sit with Him in heavenly places. I do not quite understand that, but accept it as the truth. We must be secure in Him. He is our joy, He is our strength. We must not allow the devil, circumstances or people to steal our joy. We will lose our strength then. I can assure you that we are about to enter a year where we need both our joy and our strength.

I believe that the world will get darker, but the light that we represent will become brighter. That doesn’t go for all calling themselves Christians. You might read 2.Timothy and the third chapter. Paul describes there what will happen during the last days. I believe that we are there now. Paul writes that men will be lovers of themselves, disobedient to parents, proud, unthankful and despisers of good. He has a longer list and this goes for people calling themselves Christians. They have a form of godliness, but they will never come to the knowledge of truth.

Each and everyone of us must seek the Bridegroom more than ever before. We must go to the source of truth and that is the Word of God. I said that the world around us will become darker, but that doesn’t mean that any of God’s promises will disappear. We must hold on to them and meditate on them. The Lord has promised to be with us all the time till the end of the days and we need Him more than ever.

I believe that revival will brake out many places. I also believe that signs and wonders will become common. I myself want to be healed, but I also want to be an instrument for healing and miracles. I am right now seeking teaching on this topic and watching videos where many are miraculously healed. Nothing is impossible for the Lord and nothing is impossible for those who believe.

What kind of plans do you have for next year and what kind of plans do you think God has for you? Do not answer this before you have sought the Lord. Lay down your own selfish plans and seek Him who is the answer. Do not make unrealistic New Year promises, but seek the ones that the Lord can help you to accomplish.

I would recommend you to look back over the past year before you start thinking about the new one. What are you satisfied with? What could you have done differently? Do not accuse yourself, but learn from your mistakes. Do you need to ask somebody for forgiveness or do you need to forgive anybody? It is good to start the new year with clean and polished sheet.

I will finish by reciting Isaiah 41:10:

Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will uphold you with My righteous hand.

WITH THESE WORDS I WISH YOU AN EXCITING 2018!

I will make some changes during next year. I will write shorter, use bigger letters and sometimes more often. I believe this will make it easier for you and attract more readers.
