The Kingdom of God, part 2

Part 2

You can look up Matt. 13. There we will find a lot of parables about the kingdom of God. We can start with the parable of the sower. You, yourself, can read about the seed that fell on the wayside, on the stony places and among thorns. Some fell on good ground and yielded a crop of hundredfold, some sixty and some thirty.

The next one is about the mustard seed. That is the smallest of all seeds. A man sowed a mustard seed in his field. When it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.

Another parable says that the Kingdom of God is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures (two pecks) of meal till it was all leavened.

In verse 44 it says that the Kingdom of God is like a treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and hid, and for joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

In the next verse we read that the Kingdom of the God is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls. When he had found one pearl of great price, he went and sold everything he had and bought the pearl.

In verse 47 we can read: “The kingdom of heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some of every kind, which, when it was full, they drew to shore; and they sat down and gathered the good into vessels, but threw the bad away.”

I have started to think very carefully before I start to sow. I want to see fruits, lots of fruit.

I do not want to use my life, my energy and my money to sow in fields that give no everlasting harvest. I am also very careful with what kind of seeds I sow. Every time any human being opens his or her mouth, he or she is sowing. When we look at another human being, we sow with our attitudes. We sow when we use our money. We are sowing when we use our time and we have to think how we use our time. How do we make priorities?

Our words will not disappear into nothing, but they will be seeds that can be used either by The Holy Spirit or by our enemy. What we sow in our flesh, will die according to Rom. 8:13, but what we sow in the Spirit will lead to peace and life. What we sow from a demonic source, will reap bad fruits. If we say that we will die early in life because my mother or father died early, we must not be surprised when exactly that happens. Maybe you said it many years ago, but the words do not disappear and they are like a prophesy and a curse that should be cancelled in the Name of Jesus and by His Blood.

Last time I said that we are ambassadors. This time I want to write about us as sowers. Jesus explained the parable of the sower. When we sow the Word of God, there will be some people who cannot understand it. The devil will come and steal it. (wayside) What is sown on stony places lack deep roots and when problems and persecution come, the person cannot stand firm. The seeds sown among thorns are like people who hear the Word, but worries and the deceitfulness of riches choke the Word and there will be no fruit. In verse 23 we can read: “But he who received seed on the good ground, is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty and some thirty.”

We can already read in Genesis 1 that we should multiply and be fruitful. We can surely say that the mustard seed did exactly that. It was small, but it grew big and wide. When we understand what enormous power we have in us, we will also understand that we have no limitations. THE RESSURECTION POWER THAT RAISED JESUS FROM THE DEAD, LIVES IN YOU AND ME AS CHILDREN OF GOD.

One parable explains that both good and bad seeds can be planted in the same field, but God does not take away the bad seeds right away. They grow up, side by side, but God will depart the bad from the good ones on the Day of Judgment.

Since the Kingdom of God is compared with leaven, I think that the Kingdom of God within me shall go through all of me and be part of all of my life. I believe that I should make a difference in other peoples lives as well at places. We can read in Deut. 11:24 “Every place on which the sole of your foot treads shall be yours.” I think about this when I travel around the world. I stamp my foot on the ground and proclaim that the place belongs to the Lord. I look upon myself as a messenger from Heaven and I bring seeds from the Living God and plant them in the ground on which I tread. I believe that I brake some of the darkness in the area I enter. I also believe that I can sow seeds that will produce fruits long after I leave. When You put leaven in a dough, you do not see it, but it works in the whole dough. I believe it is the same with the Good Seed we are sowing, no matter where we are.

If it is completely dark in a room and you put a small candle in that room, the room is no longer dark. The light has much greater power than the darkness. WE ARE CARRIERS OF THE STRONGEST LIGHT THAT EXISTS.

We do not always need to say much. We read in 1.Cor.4:20 “For the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power.” We can refer to 1.Thess.1:5 at the same time. “For our gospel did not come to you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit and in much assurance, as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake.” In Acts 1:8 we read: “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” It is The Holy Spirit that comes with power and we do not receive the power for our own sake, but in order for us to tell others about Him Who WAS, He Who IS AND HE WHO SHALL COME AGAIN, THE SAVIOR OF THE WORLD. We should tell others about Him Who changed our lives, He Who took all our sins and all our guilt and The One Who made it possible for us to become the children of The Living God. We should populate Heaven. The heart of God longs for Hid children and we have to help Him to get connected with many of the children that He has created. We are winning people for His Eternal Kingdom. We are the ones that decide how Heaven will be in the future, who will dwell there. We do not want any rooms to be empty. I had a vision once when I attended a revival meeting in another country. Two or three hundreds received Jesus as their Lord and Savior. For every person, I saw a room in Heaven being populated. It was very touching and the joy was great both on earth and in Heaven. We all of a sudden got many new sisters and brothers with whom we will live together with for ever and ever.

I will continue to write how we can make a difference in this world and how we can bring Heaven down to earth.

I PRAY THAT YOU WILL SOW GOOD SEEDS, IN GOOD SOIL AND THEREBY REAP A LOT OF FRUITS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
