Don’t give up!

1st of  May Patience is not my strongest virtue and I am therefore writing this to myself just as much as for you. I do hope that we will all be blessed by what I am writing. I am as usual asking the Holy Spirit to help me. I would like to start by quoting Paul and writes from 1.Cor.9:24-27: “Do you know that those who run in a race all run, but one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may obtain it. And everyone who competes for the prize is temperate in all things. Now they ... (read more)

It is not in vain

15th of April I will continue to write about good deeds and I am especially writing to you who think that you are not doing enough or what you do has no importance. I will in the beginning refer to 1.Cor.15:58 “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain.” I believe that many of you need to be reminded of the fact that whatever we do in Christ will never be in vain. I do not know how you ... (read more)

Created for good deeds

1st of April Many people are confused and wonder why they live. What is the purpose for living? They might be struck by sickness or any other problem. Others might be poor and do not know how to get enough money for living. Others have too much money and they do not know what to do with them. I do not want to minimize your problem, but I have been very inspired by a book written by a man without legs and arms. He travels around the world to inspire others to look for possibilities and solutions ... (read more)

Allow the supernatural to become natural!

15th of March I have lately watched films about healings, miracles, rising from the dead and strong deliverances. These things have happened in many different countries and God’s power has been manifested in the strangest places. The main theme through the films has been the love of God. These films have been free of religion, but full of Jesus. Maybe I should explain what I mean by such a statement. Religion is full of laws and regulations and people feel that the demands can be too much ... (read more)

What is behind the facade, part 2?

1st of March Part 2 Last time I wrote about the different things one should look for when one is in love and considers marriage. Then I mentioned some of the things that could be hidden behind the walls of the church. I wrote about facades that were hiding lies and sin, but thank God: There are shiny walls that are pure and holy on the inside. What kind of facades should we Christians reflect? Jesus. He lives on the inside of us and why are we so busy hiding what we have on the inside? The ... (read more)

What is behind the facade, part 1?

15th of February Part 1 I will be philosophizing around this theme. The reason is that I have seen a lot of individuals, congregations and organizations using a lot of energy in order to keep a nice facade. The more dirt that is hidden behind the nice wall, the more energy is used to keep the facade. I have also met quite a few people with a lousy facade, but they cover up a lot of good qualities and possibilities. Many people do not know that they spend so much energy to look nice and to keep ... (read more)

Revival

1st of February What is revival? It is when something dead, comes alive. That is in our own personal lives, in the church, in areas and sometimes in an entire country. Satan can also revive areas that have not been open for him. I will not write much about that this time, but I do want to warn against it. I am very eager to revive all the areas that have not been open for the creative power of the Living God. I have heard about revival since I was a child. It has been talked about, more or ... A New Beginning

15th of January We have recently started a new year and you might have promised yourself that this year will be different from other years. You might have thought about all the negative experiences from last year and you might say: g This year will be different.h I appreciate all positive decisions, but want to help you to think. What is important and what shall you do in order to make changes? You did not read the Bible very much last year and you really want to do something about that. ... (read more)

What does the Devil do to hinder the Body of Christ to function? Part 2

1st of January Part 2 I mentioned sickness, rumors and gossip, bad relationships, divisions and control, misuse of power and abuse of different kinds as reasons for a weak and handicapped body of Christ. I also mentioned the fact that some people do not know the plans God has for them and that creates confusion. God does not send confusion and He has clear plans for each individual. To-day I will start by writing about all of those who are stopped and hindered in using their gifts and talents. ... (read more)
